Wow. I have to admit. I felt a surge of anger listening to Sherry, especially during the part about bigotry.

But after staying with the conversation, something deeper became clear: we all truly want the same things. We may not always know how to talk about them or how to find our way toward shared understanding, but at the core, we’re more aligned than we realize.

Too often, fear and misinformation especially when amplified by those in positions of wealth and power are used to divide us and keep us in a state of confusion, suppression, or silence. These forces feed into our hesitation to engage, and make honest conversations feel threatening when they’re actually the path forward.

Thank you, Dani, for creating space for such a difficult and necessary dialogue. And thank you, Sherry, for staying in the conversation even when it was uncomfortable. There’s something powerful in working through the hard moments together. We don’t all have to agree but we do need to keep listening.
